Happy ‘Megs’ Day! 19 years ago today our first angel came into our lives. We watched her grow into the most special and wonderful person we could ever know. We always knew she was a gift from God. We saw the beautiful person that Megan became; the struggles she faced and the joy she brought to so many people. Megs determination and strength was the inspiration so many of us needed to become the people we are today. One year ago today we celebrated her 18th birthday. Meg was already heading for great things. Meg was a joy to be with. In a world where I have always struggled to understand what true friendship meant Meg was one of my truest friends and one of my best ever friends with Kelly and Jenna. Meg was a joy to talk to and sitting at the rugby or hiking up Snowdon were the most special moments for me. In November my heart broke as your body left us. Every day since then has been the hardest ever as one third of my world has disappeared. On this day that should be a day of celebration I will celebrate my special little girl and long for the day when I will see you again and we can sit and hike together. I love you so much Meg.
